Before I can show you how the money comes, before I can, "show you the money," there's a couple other things I need to establish.

First, I need you to see to that the promise of prosperity isn't just a side show in the Hebrew scriptures but is an integral part, an essential piece, a core part, of God's promises, of God's covenant with Israel.

It wasn’t there.

I couldn’t find the place in the Bible where God promised to give Abraham power to become rich. 

I was stumped.

Then, while studying the idea of Biblical blessing and cursing, I came across this from the Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament 

“To bless in the OT means ‘to endue with power for success, prosperity, fecundity, longevity, etc,’” entry 285, pg. 132
