The Lost Gospel of Jesus, part 4

(This is part 4 of the Lost Gospel of Jesus series, part one is here, part two here part three here.)

The Gospel that Jesus preached.

Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

The Gospel that Jesus preached was called, The Gospel of the Kingdom of God. We’ll get to what the phrase, "Kingdom of God" means in a bit, but first let me show you that it was the main theme of Jesus ministry.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Luke 8:1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

Luke 9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

God Wants To Answer Your Prayers, video

Most people think the "secret" to prayer is somehow getting God to want to answer our prayers. But Jesus taught, the Bible teaches, that God's "yes" to our prayer, is pretty much a given. God wants to answer our prayers, it's his desire to answer them, we don't have to talk him into it. My hope with this program is that you'll listen to it before you pray. If you do I know that faith for answered prayer will rise up in your heart and as a result,  when you pray, you'll know God has said "Yes!" to your prayer.

This is a YouTube video that lasts about 36 minutes. You can watch it in HD if you have a good enough connection.

HELP FEED THE OX

If this website has blessed you spiritually then help keep it going by donating some food for the ox.

1 Timothy 5:17 NLT Elders who do their work well should be paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, “Do not keep an ox from eating as it treads out the grain.” And in another place, “Those who work deserve their pay!”
