My question : You said that it's not the will of God that somebody be sick. But what about Timothy, Paul, Job? Can you give me your answer please.

And also if a Christian is sick, what we can tell them, how can we pray for them in case that they are not healed?

I Respect you and you know that I like you but I really want to know how you explain this?

God wants to direct our steps in life. If we'll learn to follow His direction He will keep us out of trouble, direct us to blessings in life and lead us to help others. Becky gives quite a few good examples from our personal life about the benefits of learning to be led by the spirit and the consequences of ignoring his direction in for lives.

What is faith? If we want to experience the good kind of life that God wants us to have then we need to learn to walk by faith. But what is faith? Hebrews 11:1 gives us not a definition of faith but a description of faith. Faith looks like this: It is the substance of things we expect it is the evidence of things not seen. If you aren't giving substance to the promises of God, if you're not acting and talking like they're real then you're not in faith. This is the Sunday morning service from November 27.  It lasts about 50 minutes.

Coming out of Costco the other day one of the employees, who knows that we pastor, told Becky and I "Merry Christmas" and then stopped us to explain that the employees there had been instructed to not say "Merry Christmas," but he was going to do it anyway. Now here's an interesting photo from Loewe's, which has apparently also banned the dread words, "Merry Christmas." When I was a kid, in the midst of the cold war, we'd here stories about how in Russia they had replaced Christmas with  "Winter Festival", and replaced Father Christmas with Father Frost, who'd have thought that would ever happen here.   

Andrea and her husband Greg, (Nice name by the way. I'm sure he must be a kind, handsome, scholarly man.) who listen to the podcast had a few questions and I thought I would post my shot at the answers here in case anyone else had similar questions.

THE QUESTIONS PLEASE:

Who is this God I serve, what's he like?
What type of life does he want me to have?
What do my words really do, (how true is name it and claim it)?
There is this thing where you sow a seed if you don't have enough. Is that true?
Can God raise a believer who is practically dead (cancer) back to life?
Does god REALLY want me to live an abundant life. I know the thief comes...and i have come.... what does that mean???
Can I have Godly children, a holy marriage, more than enough finances to give unto those in need... can I be like Jesus and lay hands on the sick, set the captive free?

This is part one of a series on What Is Faith? It's amazing how much misunderstanding there is about faith and what it is. If you search on the web you'll find all sorts of definitions of it. In this series of lessons we want to help you learn what faith is so that you can determine if and when you've got it. This first lesson starts off discussing the importance of faith. The Bible says that the message which Jesus preached was the gospel, or good news, of The Kingdom of God. To understand the purpose of Christianity we need to understand that Jesus preached this message in a world which the Bible describes as being Satan's Kingdom. So Jesus came preaching the good news of a new kingdom. In effect Jesus came preaching the message, The King is here and I'm taking over. Jesus has come to make all that's wrong to be made right. What is the Kingdom of God? It is God's will being done on earth. When the sick were healed Jesus told his disciples to tell them the Kingdom of God has come, in other words, by your being healed God's kingdom has taken over from Satan's kingdom.  THE GREAT KING HAS COME.
